Les Georges Leningrad was a four piece from Montreal active from 2002-2006. They played a ridiculous form of funky synth driven garage punk that they dubbed "petrochemical rock."
This is their second album on Alien8, a Montreal record label that's released stuff by Masonna, Merzbow, and the Unicorns.
